The National Student Show & Conference

Helping undergraduates become successful creative professionals, The National Student Show & Conference (NSSC) is a professionally judged creative competition and three-day conference built for students and their educators. Five judges select the best student work and award $20,000 in scholarships and cash prizes.

On March 6, 2020 Graphic Design, Art History and Studio Art majors - undergrads and graduate together- went to discover the art scene in Tulsa.

The visit included a guided tour of Philbrook Museum of Art, AHHA, and a presentation at the Cubic Design Agency, Students as well as participated in the Tulsa First Friday Art Crawl in Tulsa’s Arts District before calling it an Art-Night!

The Oklahoma Arts Council has announced the names of 34 Oklahomans selected to participate in the 2020 Leadership Arts program. The list includes individuals from 18 Oklahoma communities statewide who will convene at four two-day spring sessions to learn how the arts can positively impact education, economic development, and quality of life in Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition’s Momentum annually features Oklahoma artists ages 30 years and younger, working in diverse media. The exhibition presents a diversified look at young artistic talent in Oklahoma.

Attendees encounter film, performance, new media, installation, music, and more.
