Dr. Cristina Cruz González will present the paper, "Mystics, Miracles, and Mimesis: Female Piety and the Hagiographic Image in the Spanish World," at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, on September 6, 2019. The presentation is part of the event, "Women of the Book: A Conference on the Spiritual Lives of Early Modern Women." The two-day event is open to the public, for a complete program click here.

Dr, Louise Siddons co-curated an exhibition with Robert Flynn Johnson, “Edgar Degas: The Private Impressionist," and is currently on view at the California Center for the Arts (Escondido, CA). The exhibitionis the subject of a wonderful review by Steve Horn, for the Coast News.

Robert Flynn Johnson is curator emeritus at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, and a recent speaker at the OSU Museum of Art in conjunction with our student-curated exhibition, “Intentional Exposure,” this spring.

Robert and Louise curated the exhibition in 2011, and it has traveled to a number of venues including the Naples Museum of Art (Naples, FL), the Portland Museum of Art (Portland, ME), Carnegie Arts Center (Turlock, CA), Foothills Art Center (Golden, CO), Texas A&M University Gallery (College Station, TX), Fundacion Canal (Madrid, Spain), Frick Art & Historical Museum (Pittsburgh, PA), and the Newcomb College Art Gallery at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA).
