Chazz Grey, OSU BFA Graduate accepted into University of Oklahoma MFA program

Congratulations to our own Chazz Grey, a recent BFA Studio Art graduate, for being accepted into the Master of Fine Arts program at University of Oklahoma!

More about the Chazz:

Artist Statement

"My works share many characteristics of the Abstract Expressionist movement that emerged in America after World War II, which was characterized by monumental scale, abstract imagery, integrated compositions, a sense of implied movement created by the artist’s gestures, unique techniques or mannerisms, and the expression of personal life experiences. All of these elements are present in my works, and I have found that many of the contemporary artists that have influenced my work, such as Mark Bradford, El Anatsui, and Leonardo Drew, all have roots in Abstract Expressionism."
