“Teachable Moments”
Each of these artists/educators has at least one student that has won a gold award in the National Scholastics Art competition, Oklahoma Division. We invited these artists/educators to exhibit their work and to include a statement on their teaching philosophy; how do they bring out the best in their students. Then the pandemic hit. It seemed appropriate to keep this exhibition online and adjust the question to how has the pandemic affected their teaching philosophy?
It has been a hard spring for educators, and some were just too exhausted to participate. Many thanks to those who took the time to share their work and thoughts in this exhibition.
