Nick Mendoza, MFA
Nick Mendoza is a graphic designer, artist, and educator. He received a BFA in graphic design from Brigham Young University and MFA in graphic design from the University of Utah.
Nick uses art and design to create awareness and dialog about social issues facing our society. He is a proponent of design for good and tries to incorporate it in his work whenever possible. Themes of place, space, and the human condition are represented throughout his work.
Nick has had work published in Communications Arts, Print Magazine, Just Design (HOW Books), Design School Confidential (Rockport Publishers), Graphis NewTalent annual, and Designer Magazine. Nick has also had his artwork exhibited at K Space (Corpus Christi, TX), Kimball Art Center (Park City, UT), Regis Center for the Arts (Minneapolis, MN), Woodbury Art Museum (Orem, UT), Peveto Art Gallery (Houston, TX), Museum of Printing History (Houston, TX), Rio Gallery (Salt Lake City, UT) and the Impact 8 International Printmaking Conference (Dundee, Scotland).
