Melting Pot: Student-Organized Art Exhibition

The Oklahoma State Artist Society would like to present an exhibit surrounding identity. The purpose of this show is to create a collective dialogue about different cultural identities in the U.S. The pieces focus on subjects involving identity issues, including race, gender issues, sexuality, religion, disabilities, alter-egos, and so on. The show will be judged by a guest juror, Leann Wright.

The exhibit is on display on October 10th in the Starlight Terrace, Student Union 465. The show begins at 5:30 p.m. with a panel discussion at 7 presented by the Art History Organization. After show reception will be held at Brooklyn's wine bar.
