BFA Graphic Design student Anna Humes recently won First Place Purchase Award in the Research Week Student Art Contest “Art of Water” for her piece “River Rock”.
BFA Photography student Katie Daniel, currently studying as an intern a Universal Limited Art Editions in New York through the Department of Art, Graphic Design and Art History at OSU, will have a self-portrait included in a forthcoming book published by Quiet Pages Press. Ms. Daniel will return to OSU in Fall 2019 to complete her BFA thesis.

Universal Limited Art Editions is a renowned printmaking studio in Bay Shore, New York, with a rich history of collaborating with artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Jasper Johns, Kiki Smith, and many other influential artists of our time. Bill Goldston, OSU alumnus and current owner of ULAE, has been providing all-expenses-paid internships for three students in the OSU Art Department every year since 1987.
Art History Masters' students go to Dallas to participate at the 2019 RASC/a: Art History Graduate Conference, Beyond the Vision: The Sensorion in Art, at the Southern Methodist University.
Students in Dr. Louise Siddons Museum Exhibition Course Art 4813/5813 Spring 2019, have curated an exhibition at the Oklahoma State Museum of Art.
Intentional Exposure: Photography From the Permanent Collection is an exhibition featuring works by well-known photographers Gordon Parks, Sally Mann, Arnold Genthe, Imogen Cunningham and Robert Doisneau, Intentional Exposure invites visitors to think about what these photographers conceal and reveal.
The show will run April 2 - June 1 2019 with an opening reception April 3, 5-7pm.
The receptionwill feature quest speaker Dr. Robert Flynn Johnson.
The Bailey Family Memorial Trust was established on October 24, 1982, by J.B. Bailey and his brother Richard E. Bailey (both now deceased) in memory of Ida L. Davis and Lalla D. Bailey, their grandmother and mother, respectively. J.B. Bailey, a Tulsa attorney, was an OSU graduate. Richard E. Bailey was a long-time professor of humanities at OSU and founder of the first study abroad program in OSU's College of Arts and Sciences.

This is the 53rd annual event for Oklahoma. The American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
This year Oklahoma State University has 3 winners of the ADDY Award.
